For all of our 6 staircase designs we offer standard options as illustrated. We can also incorporate personal design options on request.
Enhances most staircases, it's preferable to have the wider treads so the lights strikes the tread below. Alternatives to consider are string or wall mounted LED’s.
The two options are the stainless steel button fixing and the clad finish. The apron can be white as illustrated or an oak finish to compliment the treads.
The stainless tread buttons can be finished the colour of the staircase.
Capped tread ends. Clad tread ends are still a popular choice.

18015-3 A Straight String staircase with intermediate turning landing, all self-supporting with no unattractive posts.
18038-1 Typical installation of our very popular Inboard String staircase. The client preferred the matching clad ends to the treads instead of the Stainless steel glass buttons. The Oak clad aprons on the landing complimented the treads in leu of the stainless buttons.
Glass bottom edge detail : The straight bottom edge is the most popular and economical. The Zig Zag option is simple personal choice at extra cost approx £30.00 per tread.

Glass transition. Both the top and bottom edges of the glass should flow on corner intersections. A very important detail often missed by others.
Square landing, be careful not to use too many treads as it can alter the balustrade geometry and present the appearance of a stack of pallets.

Our architect had sketched out a design for a modern, steel staircase with glass balustrading and open risers, intended to make the hallway feel bright and open. Until we contacted UK Creative Castings, we thought our dream of an all glass cantilevered staircase had ended. Without so much as a site survey, their designers forwarded 3D renders for our approval, our minor design detail preferences were integrated into the most spectacular of all glass cantilevered staircases.
The skilled site fitters made installation look so easy, completing in two days including the 600 mile return journey. One fitter even retuned to replace one piece of handrail. Thanks to the whole team for a faultless project, very impressed.
